MochiKey is a tactile keyboard toy. We keep data collection limited and do not collect what you type. The keyboard does not send your keystrokes, messages, passwords, credit card numbers, or conversation content to us, RevenueCat, Firebase, or any other third party.

Information We Collect

• App activity and interaction events, such as onboarding steps, paywall interactions, settings changes, feature usage, and purchase or restore actions.
• Aggregate custom-keyboard usage, including daily session counts, daily successful key-input action counts, first-use dates, and retention milestones. We do not record which keys were pressed or any text content.
• An app-specific user ID used to keep analytics and purchase state working. This ID is generated by the App and is not your name or email address.
• Purchase and entitlement information needed to unlock and restore Pro features, including purchase history and product identifiers.
• Basic technical information processed by our service providers, such as app version, device/OS information, locale, currency, and SDK diagnostic metadata.
• Apple Search Ads attribution information may be processed through RevenueCat when available, to help understand whether an install came from Apple Search Ads.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or analyze the text you type with the keyboard.
• We do not collect passwords, credit card numbers, private messages, or conversation content.
• Photos you choose as keyboard backgrounds stay on your device and are not uploaded to our servers, RevenueCat, Firebase, or other third parties.
• We do not collect your contacts, precise location, health data, or browsing history.
• We do not use IDFA or third-party advertising tracking.

Keyboard and Photo Backgrounds

The keyboard supports Full Access so it can read settings, photo backgrounds, and aggregate usage counters stored in the App Group shared with the containing App. The keyboard extension does not include Firebase or RevenueCat and does not make analytics network requests. When you later open the containing App, it may send only aggregate session and successful key-input action counts to Firebase. Your typed text is passed only to the app or text field you are using through Apple's keyboard APIs and is never stored in these counters. If you choose a photo background, the image is processed and stored locally on your device so the App can display it. You can remove the custom background in the App or delete the App to remove local app data.

How We Use Information

• Operate the App and provide tactile keyboard features.
• Unlock, verify, and restore Pro purchases.
• Measure basic usage, understand feature performance, and improve the product.
• Detect, debug, and prevent technical or purchase-related issues.
• Measure Apple Search Ads performance when attribution data is available.

Third-Party Services

• Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase: used for app analytics such as screen and feature interactions, aggregate custom-keyboard session and successful key-input action counts, first-use and retention events, app-specific user ID, Pro status, and technical metadata. We do not send pressed-key values, typed text, or photos to Firebase.
• RevenueCat: used for in-app purchase validation, Pro entitlement management, restore purchases, purchase analytics, fraud prevention, and Apple Search Ads attribution when available. RevenueCat processes purchase history, product IDs, receipts or transaction information, app-specific user ID, and related technical metadata. RevenueCat does not process your payment card details.
• Apple In-App Purchase: Apple processes payments, taxes, refunds, and purchase records under Apple's terms and privacy practices.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers needed to operate analytics, purchase validation, attribution, and app functionality. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share typed text or photo backgrounds because we do not collect them.

Retention and Deletion

Local settings and photo backgrounds remain on your device until you remove them or delete the App. Analytics records and purchase records are retained by Firebase, RevenueCat, and Apple as needed to operate the services, restore purchases, prevent fraud, comply with law, and maintain business records. You may contact us to request deletion of data associated with your app-specific user ID where deletion is technically and legally available.

Children

MochiKey is not directed to children under 13 and is not submitted in the Kids Category. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

International Processing

Our service providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States and Japan. We use service providers that are expected to provide appropriate protection for the data they process.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when our data practices or legal requirements change. Material changes will be posted in the App or on this page.

もちキー（MochiKey）は、触感を楽しむキーボードおもちゃアプリです。データ収集は必要最小限にとどめ、キーボードで入力した内容は収集しません。入力文字、メッセージ、パスワード、クレジットカード番号、会話内容が、当方、RevenueCat、Firebase、その他の第三者に送信されることはありません。

収集する情報

• オンボーディングの進行、ペイウォール操作、設定変更、機能利用、購入・復元操作などのアプリ利用イベント
• カスタムキーボードの日次セッション数、入力成功操作の日次回数、初回利用日、継続利用の節目などの集計情報。押されたキーや入力文字は記録しません。
• 分析および購入状態の管理に使用する、アプリ固有のユーザーID。このIDは本アプリが生成するもので、お客様の氏名やメールアドレスではありません。
• Pro機能の解放・復元に必要な購入履歴、商品ID、利用権情報
• アプリバージョン、端末/OS情報、ロケール、通貨、SDK診断メタデータなど、サービス提供者が処理する基本的な技術情報
• Apple Search Ads経由のインストールを把握するため、利用可能な場合にRevenueCatを通じてApple Search Adsのアトリビューション情報が処理されることがあります。

収集しない情報

• キーボードで入力した文字を収集、保存、送信、販売、解析しません。
• パスワード、クレジットカード番号、プライベートメッセージ、会話内容を収集しません。
• キーボード背景に選択した写真はデバイス内に保存され、当方のサーバー、RevenueCat、Firebase、その他の第三者にアップロードされません。
• 連絡先、正確な位置情報、健康情報、閲覧履歴を収集しません。
• IDFAや第三者広告目的のトラッキングは使用しません。

キーボードと写真背景

キーボードは、本体アプリと共有するApp Group内の設定、写真背景、集計利用カウンターを読み取るためにフルアクセスへ対応しています。キーボード拡張自体にはFirebaseやRevenueCatを含まず、分析目的のネットワーク通信も行いません。その後に本体アプリを開いた際、セッション数と入力成功操作回数の集計値だけがFirebaseへ送信されることがあります。入力文字はAppleのキーボードAPIを通じて利用中のアプリまたは入力欄にのみ渡され、集計カウンターには保存されません。写真背景を選択した場合、画像は本アプリで表示するためにデバイス上で処理・保存されます。カスタム背景はアプリ内で削除でき、アプリを削除するとローカルのアプリデータも削除されます。

利用目的

• 本アプリおよび触感キーボード機能の提供
• Pro購入の解放、検証、復元
• 基本的な利用状況の把握、機能改善、プロダクト改善
• 技術的な不具合や購入関連の問題の検出、調査、防止
• 利用可能な場合にApple Search Adsの効果測定

利用している第三者サービス

• Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase: 画面・機能の操作、カスタムキーボードのセッション数と入力成功操作回数の集計値、初回利用・継続利用イベント、アプリ固有ユーザーID、Pro状態、技術メタデータなどの分析に使用します。押されたキー、入力文字、写真をFirebaseに送信することはありません。
• RevenueCat: App内課金の検証、Pro利用権管理、購入の復元、購入分析、不正防止、利用可能な場合のApple Search Adsアトリビューションに使用します。RevenueCatは購入履歴、商品ID、レシートまたは取引情報、アプリ固有ユーザーID、関連する技術メタデータを処理します。RevenueCatがお客様の支払いカード情報を処理することはありません。
• Apple App内課金: 支払い、税、返金、購入記録はAppleの規約およびプライバシー慣行に基づきAppleが処理します。

共有

当方は、分析、購入検証、アトリビューション、アプリ機能の提供に必要なサービス提供者に限り情報を共有します。個人情報を販売することはありません。また、入力内容や写真背景は収集していないため共有しません。

保存期間と削除

ローカル設定および写真背景は、お客様が削除するか本アプリを削除するまでデバイス内に保存されます。分析記録および購入記録は、サービス提供、購入復元、不正防止、法令遵守、業務記録の維持に必要な期間、Firebase、RevenueCat、Appleにより保持されます。アプリ固有ユーザーIDに関連するデータについて、技術的および法的に可能な範囲で削除を希望する場合はお問い合わせください。

子どものプライバシー

本アプリは13歳未満の子どもを主な対象としておらず、Kids Categoryにも提出していません。保護者の方が、子どもが当方に個人情報を提供した可能性があると考える場合はお問い合わせください。適切に対応します。

国外での処理

当方のサービス提供者は、米国、日本、その他お客様の居住国外で情報を処理する場合があります。当方は、処理するデータについて適切な保護を行うことが期待されるサービス提供者を利用します。

変更

データの取扱いまたは法令上の要件が変わった場合、本ポリシーを更新することがあります。重要な変更は本アプリ内または本ページで告知します。
